Domain 1: Inter-Rater Reliability and Scoring


Monitoring is a critical step in achieving success and positively impacting student achievement. This session focuses on establishing inter-rater reliability through repeated video practice using the Gradual Release of Responsibility Model. Explore Design Questions 6-9 and find how they are a vital precondition for learning. Assessment will require that attendees provide their own laptop or iPad.

  • Understand how to use the scale to identify the current level of implementation
  • Learn how monitoring can look different for each lesson segment, design question, and element
  • Identify and apply the scale for Design Questions 1-9 during an observation
